unabashed queer kink con 2024 is September 13th-15th - and we're extra titillated that you're interested in sharing with the unabashed community. PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BELOW before getting started, as we want you to have the best chance possible at presenting. (you may also watch a video of a producer reading these instructions here.) we really appreciate each and every application, and can't wait to see what our community has to offer!

the exchange for presenting is free entry to the con, and your 90 minute presentation is your volunteer shift. each presentation can have a maximum of two facilitators. everyone at unabashed completes a workshift as a part of co-creating the con, but your workshift will be the goodness you're sharing.

you MUST list anyone who is co-facilitating with you (including bottoms, if your bottom/s is/are part of the package deal that is your class). we won't be able to consider co-facilitators or bottoms listed after the fact for fully comped or reduced-price tickets.

application timing: this application closes on May 12th, 2024; all applicants will be notified of their selection status by July 12th, 2024.

application evaluation: we read all applications without names attached to give everyone a fair shot at presenting. as such, the first section is the ONLY section where you can put your name/s or website/s. if you put similarly identifying information in another part of the application, we won't be able to consider it.

references: this year we require two references per facilitator. if your presentation is selected, we will contact these individuals, so make sure they know you're kinky. these can be people you've played with, people you've attended cons with, other facilitators who know your work, organizers of other cons - anyone who knows your facilitation work who will vouch for you.

multiple submissions: you may submit applications for up to four different classes you would like to teach. we know some of you teach many classes; please only apply with the one(s) you would be most passionate about presenting to our audience.

if you have multiple submissions, you MUST submit an individual application for EVERY presentation you'd like us to consider. because of the way we evaluate applications - side by side, in the spreadsheet produced by this form - we will not go to an outside document or website that contains all of your submissions. we also read applications without names attached, and as such we cannot go to your website to read more about other presentations or classes you have to offer. you are, however, welcome to submit up to three applications.

timing: our presentation slots are 90 minutes.

travel: we're committed to working with at least some (and ideally all) of the presenters we pick to offer travel and housing support, but you MUST list your need or potential need in this application in order to be considered for support.

new in travel for 2024: we're trying something new out this year. we want to see if, as a part of presenting, y'all want us to arrange for to stay in an airbnb with other presenters for the weekend. if this is something you're interested in, please let us know your spatial needs (no stairs? coming with polycule? etc.) and financial needs (need us to cover it? have a budget?). please note that this will apply to selected presenters only.

make your life easier: this application doesn't save your progress, so here's a quick list of info to gather in advance. for each facilitator and/or bottom presenting, in addition to basic personal information, you will need:

scene name or name you go by when teaching (if different)
website and/or social media handles
bio for all facilitators (for promotion)
two references per facilitator
name of proposed presentation
learning goals for presentation
one paragraph description of presentation (do not mention your name)
