BWC Clergy Supply & Coverage Form

The Board of Ordained Ministry takes seriously its role in supporting the well-being of clergy persons. One of the insights gleaned from your responses in the 2022 Gender, Race, and Ministry study was the need for enhanced systems of support for those seeking to take vacation or leave, specifically in securing the necessary worship and pastoral care coverage. As United Methodists, we live and serve in a connectional system that enables us to be of support to one another. To those ends, the Board is creating a database of clergy persons available to preach or be available for pastoral care within the Baltimore-Washington Conference.

If you are a retired clergy person and interested in the occasional preaching invitation, serve in an extension ministry that does not require your working presence every Sunday, or for other reasons able to offer yourself for pulpit supply or emergency pastoral care, then we invite you to complete the following form. A database will be created from these submissions and available for all persons serving within the Baltimore-Washington Conference.
