Class Project Proposal Form

Use this form to submit a class project proposal for more involved project-based learning that typically require multiple LRC lab reservations and/or instructional design assistance. For help on project planning, pedagogy, technology/tool selection and scheduling please contact David Shultz (shultzd@gvsu.edu).

Your class for the project. Please do not submit project proposals on behalf of other MLL faculty or their courses, and be sure to choose the correct section number!

Select a project type that matches the tools or resources that you will be using. If you're unsure, please reach out to David Shultz (shultzd@gvsu.edu).

Give your project a name that describes it in a few words.

Briefly describe your project or link a document that describes your project.

Group projects: # of students per group; individual projects: 1

The date (and time) that your project script, outline, or other student deliverable is due.

The final submission date (and time) that students can submit their projects.

If you would like your class projects to be accessible to you for grading, for assignments such as peer evaluations, or to appear in the LRC's project showcase, enter a date (and time) that you would like the LRC to have these projects ready for you to access.

Indicate if and how you would like these projects published. Shareable links will be sent to you directly for use by your class, and projects published in the LRC project showcase will be publicly visible and published on the LRC's website.

Please check the LRC Lab Reservation Calendar in the MLL Faculty Portal to see scheduled activities. Please do your best to avoid double-booking a lab room that already has your colleague's class in it!

Detail the dates and times that you would like to reserve space in the LRC. You can write out the dates and times (and any additional information about them) it in any format you want, or link to a document where you have the information.

Here's an example:

10/12 at 11a in Lab B (instructional session);

10/16 at 11a in Lab C (in-class editing);

10/17 at 11a in Lab C (in-class editing)

LRC staff will hold these reservations for you on the calendar, and David Shultz will work with you to ensure that your project schedule and reservations are appropriate for your project, course level, and instructional design needs.
