Join us for our first iteration of Word Vancouver Book Fair: Art, Zines, and In-Betweens!
Calling all publishers, creatives, makers, and community-builders with a love of the literary — we want to celebrate the written word and all its intersections with you at our annual festival and book fair! Whether you're into mystery, poetry, or non-fiction, we invite you to come exhibit your books, comics, visual arts, performance work, and more.
This year's in person festival will run from 11am-5pm on Saturday September 28th, 2024.
The Word Book Fair is held in the Robson Square Ice Rink; enjoy the feeling of being outdoors while also staying safe from the elements whether it's rain or too much shine. Performances and music will play throughout the day at the north end of the ice rink plaza, as well as literary programming in the upstairs plaza, and inside UBC Robson Square. Book Fair exhibitors also enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages in the festival green room!
